The studio virtually has no hiearchy and is flat as a sheet of hot pressed cartridge. We have no management team, no marketing team, no accounts team and definitely no H.R team with memos on positive empowerment. This structure works for us though.

Smitha Shivaswamy
Is an illustrator who specialises in Children's Book illustrations. She prefers the rotring pen and a smooth stock of German ivory card. Smee keeps order in the workplace through a combination of insults, threats, pouts and cutting off the tea supply. Smee is 23 and her long time goal is for Pencil Sauce to be represented abroad and to represent foreign talent in turn, in India. If you think you have an idea for her, send her a message.

Sanjay Unnikrishnan
Heads the 3d visualisation team. Sanjay is our Blender3d wiz. He used to paint oil repros before he started 3d mesh modeling. Today Sanju watches over the entire 3d workflow from sketch to final render. He is stoic and silent. In fact, no one in the studio ever remembers Sanju having said something other than "...touched my machine?". Sanju is 26 and is an expert at opensource graphic computing. His long term goal is to use 3D to make an animated action film in Malayalam. If you have an idea for him, contact him here.

Vimal Varissary

is our necro fiend. He draws our medical illustrations in rich colour complete with sub surface skin effects and realistic glistening blood. Vimal's background in realistic reproduction and oils allows him a huge headstart on most digital artists. His work is used by doctors to explain conditions to their patients, so you better believe it if we say that his knowledge of the human anatomy is pretty damn good. Vimal also jumps in to lend a hand on storyboards during rush hour jobs. His long term goal is to own a high end graphics suite complete with an Intuos tablet, Scanners and the works. If you have some long term medical illustration jobs, that should pretty much cover his goal. Just brief us here.
